Curtain Falls on AG’s Revival Convention

DIPHU, Feb 14: The three-daylong revival convention of the Assemblies of God, East India region, Diphu held at Pensing Teron village near Gita Ashram concluded today on the theme “Not by might nor by power, but by My spirit” extracted from Zachariah 4:6.

The event began on February 12 and concluded today amid much enthusiasm. Prominent speakers who include Rev. Pikhato, general superintendent of AGEI, Rev. Dr. Theupuo Nyekha, former general superintendent of AGEI, Rev. Now Karthak, assistant general superintendent of AGEI, Dr. TN Lotha, Rev. Nzio Ezung superintendent of Nagaland region, Rev. Samuel, director North East India, White Stone, LLC, USA preached the words of God.

It was reported that thousands of AG members from different parts of North Eastern states including Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim and many others attended the programme. During the three-daylong event 7, persons were ordained to carry out works in and around Karbi Anglong. The ordination ceremony was presided over by Rev. Pikhato Kath followed by a Holy Communion service led by Rev. Samuel Khuma, general secretary, AGEI. Delegates from different parts of North East who took part in the event were enlivened with new spirit.
