Army Felicitate Veer Nari and War Disabled


DIPHU, Nov 29: With the aim of providing assistance ex-army who have suffered permanent physical injury and ensuring that Veer Naris and their families are resettled with utmost dignity in society, the Red Horns Division of the Indian Army felicitated Veer Nari and war disabled in Diphu today. This was informed by army today.

The felicitation programme was held under the aegis of Red Horns Division at Diphu in east Karbi Anglong as part of Operation Sadbhavana during which the gifts were distributed to the Veer Nari and ex-army. In addition to this, the Veer Nari and war disabled soldier shared their grievances during the interaction and appreciated the efforts of the army in resolving pension anomalies, said the army.

The event witnessed the presence of one Veer Nari of 1971 War, one War Disabled soldier of 1971 War and ESM Cell, Diphu, East Karbi Anglong.

The Veer Nari and war disabled soldier heartedly expressed their gratitude towards the Indian Army and said that the Army has always been helpful and alive to the aspirations of the ESM & NOKs, concluded the army.
