Career Guidance and Counseling Held at Dillai HS


DILLAI, Sept 12: A one-day career guidance programme on the theme ‘Importance of Education and Role in the Society’ was organized by the Karbi Students’ Association (KSA) at Dillai Higher Secondary School, Dillai today.

Research scholar TATA Institute of Social Science, Mumbai Rita Kramsapi attended the programme as resource persons and they highlighted the importance of cultivating reading habits in the high school life and the importance of career planning that directs the way to students’ career.

During the programme resource persons Rita Kramsapi reiterated encourage students to challenge and have patience in their life reminding the proverb ‘where there is a will there is a way’ to urge them to be positive and work hard to achieve their goals. She also emphasized on the value of time and reminding that success is possible through sincere dedication and hard work.

Dillai KSA president Nobin Rongpi, Mothers group and teachers of the school attended the programme. The career guidance programme was targeted for students of the surrounding area.
