EM Diphusa Seek Votes at Upper Dikrong

DILLAI, April 13: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of the hill districts is leaving no stone unturned in their campaign for their party candidate Horensing Bey by holding back to back meetings simultaneously held across district. KAAC EM Pradip Difusa who was accompanied by Shakti Kendra convenor Baburam Timung, VDC member Thomas Lakr and B Bridev Islary attended the party campaign meeting at Dikrong community hall here on Saturday.

During the meeting Baburam Timung attacked the Congress stating that they ruled for over 15 years yet people did not saw or experienced any change during their term while, people at the grass root level got direct benefit under the BJP rule.

Meanwhile, EM Diphusa during his address appealed the voters of the constituency to vote for development by voting for BJP. “During our term all families were provided with Ayushman Bharat health card, free gas connection and rice at Re. 1 per kg for poor families and more will come if BJP is given another term,” said Diphusa. “Dr. Jayanta Rongpi was voted by people but he was not able to deliver anything more except MoU while MP Biren Sing Engti has not been able to raise the long pending political demand of the people of the hill districts of Assam,” he continued. “BJP candidate Horensing Bey will take up for the implementation of Article 244 (A) of the Constitution of India if voted to power,” EM concluded.
