BJP seeks support for candidate in Chokihola

    BOKAJAN, April 12: With five days remaining for polling, the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of Karbi Anglong is utilizing all of their time and effort to reach out to maximum voters across the district to garner support for the party candidate Horensing Bey. A mass campaign meeting was held at BJP Chokihola office during which party leaders that include Bokajan MLA Dr. Numal Momin, and MAC Pabitra Rongpi urged voters of the constituency to extend their support to their party.

    The meeting which was chaired by BJP Nilip Mondal vice president Jiren Engti was also attended by VDC chairman Timothy Teron, Minority chairman Win Ronghang, Mongal Sing Singnar, Pradip Phangcho, David Rengma, Boson Rongphar, Samson Engti, Phudang Phangchopi and Alisha Terangpi among others.

    Speaking at the meeting, MLA Dr. Numal Momin expressed his great confidence of victory and said that the people of the hill districts witnessed biggest development in its history. He stated that party candidate Horensing Bey is the only contesting candidate who would be able to push for the full implementation of clauses of MoU and MoS. MLA Momin further declared that Nilip constituency would be repaid on receiving votes from the constituency.
