KTSA celebrates 2nd birth anniversary


Diphu, April 04: The 2nd Karbi Traditional Sports Association (KTSA) birth anniversary with a day-long programme at Rangsina Sarpo Cultural Hall in Diphu today.

The programme began with unfurling of its flag by its president and was inaugurated by Karbi Cultural society (KCS) general secretary Chandra Sing Kro followed by different programmes including workshops on different topics.

People from all walks of life including students’ leaders, social organization leaders from various organizations and locals participated in the programme.

It may be mentioned that KTSA was formed April 9, 2017 with the objective of keeping Karbi traditions alive, create recreational activities and to preserve and promote the heritage Karbi traditional game.
