Party Committed on State Issue and Implementation of MoS and MoU: EM Jagatsing


BOKAJAN, April 08: KAAC EM Jagatsing Engti in his address said that if their party is voted to power there will be talks every quarterly with the centre and Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) for separate state and full implementation of MoU and MOS during the election rally at Saphapani Community Hall today.

The meeting which began at around 11am was presided over by David Teron and welcome note was delivered by Stephan Rongpi. The meeting was attended by KAAC EM i/c Higher Education KAAC Jagatsing Engti, VDC chairman Riso Singnar, ex-Board chairperson Kadom Terangpi, Monika Hansepi, ex-VDC chairman Silarson Rongpi, ex-VDC chairman Uttom Tisso and Bokojan Block Mandal secretary Lokhiram Rongpi and other party leading light.

During his address EM Engti added that there is no question of their party losing losing the election. He stated that several developmental works are going on in around Sarupathar constituency and the link road connecting Japralangso and Sarihajan is under construction.

He also stated that several developmental schemes for the area are in the pipeline. In addition to this, EM Engti also mentioned that Rs. 10 crore worth development projects are also in progress. He concluded his speech urging the people of the constituency to vote for young and party candidate Horensing Bey to help in continue the momentum of developmental works going on and bring a new change in the lives of all people.
