KAAC CEM Lays Foundation Stone of several Projects in West Karbi Anglong


JENGKHA/KHERONI, Feb 13: Team Karbi Anglong led by CEM Tuliram Ronghang and accompanied by host of EMs and MACs that include Pradeep Rongpi, Rupsing Teron, Lunsing Teron, Kache Rongpipi, Khonsing Rongpi, Prabhat Ch. Taro, Richard Tokbi and others visited Chopikelok, one of the most remote areas of Duar Amla MAC constituency and attended a public meeting.

The meeting was chaired by MAC Prabhat Taro and attended by several saffron party leaders from the district as well as the constituency. While addressing the gathering, CEM Tuliram Ronghang stated that all schemes undertaken by the government should be completed within this year and all kinds of schemes should reach every nook and corner of the district. He also declared that an amount of Rs. 42, 73, 17000 crores has been sanctioned for Karbi Anglong for developmental works. He went on to declare that an amount of Rs. 7,10,00000 has been sanctioned for the construction of bridges over Sinani river and Amsoi Tiniali.

CEM further laid foundation stone for the construction of community hall amounting to Rs. 3 crores at Borkok under KAAC budget plan. He also promised to provide 15 types of schemes for Chopikelok village which include community hall, fishery, open stage, irrigation scheme, road, electricity, drinking water, ICDS, medical sub-centre etc immediately.
