DIPHU, Dec 14: Ha-i-mu, a Karbi film based on the life of Ha-i-mu, unfortunate victim of the arbitrary and unbridled whims and fancies of Long Teron that was produce by BK Film Production was formally released by KAAC EM Rupsing Teron, i/c Art & Culture, etc., at Rangsina Sarpo Auditorium Hall, Lorulangso on Friday.
The film is based on a love story, where the heroine Hai-i-mu has to leave her husband Long Teron despite having a child as no formalities of marriage were completed and her parents were forced to marry her to another person.
The script writer Bidyasing Rongpi, former EM KAAC said that shooting of the film was done in remote typical Karbi villages. In the film, Malin Engtipi took the role as Hai-i-mu, Birsing Bey of Long Teron and Dilip Bey as Bordili (Longdili).beside Bidyasing Rongpi, Samili Terangpi, Raju Rongphar and Maloti Rongpipi who acted different role in the film.
The premier show programme was attended by KCS president Chandro Sing Kro as chief guest eminent writer Dhaneswar Engti, Deputy Director of Culture Affairs department, Hemari Tokbi as special guests.
