JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Guwahati Centre is proudly presenting the 13th JD Excellence in Design Awards on the 13th of July 2018 at ITA Pragjyotish, Machkhowa.

The JD Excellence in Design Awardsprovides a platform to all the aspiring student designers to exhibit their one of kind designs to the industry. This is an enormous opportunity for the graduating students to showcase their design ideas to the eminent professionals from the industry which also help them get an affirmative prospect about the career. Like each year, this year too the JEDIIIANS have been given a unique theme to work around and challenge their creative minds. The theme for this year is “CHANGE”

The JDExcellence in design awards has always been the most awaited show in the NE and so this year we took the opportunity to make it bigger and grandeur by taking the event to a whole new level. Our event will be inaugurated by , Mrs. RupalDalal, Executive Director JD Institute Fashion Technology along with the Directors, Ms.SumitaDeyDeka and Ms.UshmitaDey and Reknowned Fashion Designer ShyamantaHazarika and Interior Designer Santosh Banka.

A rare display of innovative use of new fabric, yarn and an attempt in recreating ethnic couture culture by fashion design aspirants. Also a rigorous attempt to understand space utility and functional lifestyle designing through technical aspects by interior design students.

The curtains for event was raisedby the Interior designing and fashion photography exhibitions at 10 am and followed by the most looked-for fashion show by the graduating students of JD Institute of Fashion Technology from 5:30pm onwards.
