Nine Journalists Selected for GNRC Fellowship

GUWAHATI, Mar 19: Nine city based journalists have been selected for GNRC Media Fellowship Program 2018, where the fellows will study the overall healthcare situation and probable initiatives for the benefit of common people in the coming days. The session is expected to start from the first week of April and each fellow will receive a lump sum remuneration of rupees 10,000 (ten thousand rupees only) from the management of GNRC group of hospitals.

The fellows are expected to attend regular interactive sessions with the physicians in the pioneer healthcare institute and report about their experiences in their respective media outlets.”The output of the fellowship program is expected to help the policy makers in formulating schemes for the development of medical care and infrastructures in our region,” said Dr NC Borah, chairman cum managing director of GNRC hospitals.

The selected fellows include Hemanta Borah (Asomiya Pratidin), Mukut Roy (Dainik Agradoot), Deepu Kumar Bairagi (Amar Asom), Dhirumoni Gogoi (Dainik Janambhumi), Pranabjyoti Dutta (Dainik Janambhumi),Nitali Sarmah (Asomiya Khabar), Junmoni Gogoi (Asomiya Khabar), Sandeep Kumar Sharma (Pratah Khabar) and Kaustove Moni Kakoty.
