LRNA Condemns FIR Lodged Against SMSA Members, Demands Release of Arrested Victims

DIPHU, Nov 27: As appeared in the local newspapers regarding sand business on November 26, the Langpher Riso-Nimso Aterank (LRNA) in a press statement, issued by its president Sanju Tokbi and secretary Mohon Engti Kathar, has strongly condemned the act of atrocities by a Dimapur based person Raju Parekh and the people who lodged an FIR Adam Ngullie and P Ngullie of Dimapur against SMSA.

Stating that the Department of Forest, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) under East Division should properly investigate Mohol No. 9 at Langmili, the organization also stated that the authority should always check the validity of challan to be able to produce during inspection and to avoid illegal activities in Karbi Anglong. LRNA also appealed the administration to immediately release all the arrested victims and immediately withdraw all the allegations and charges against them.
