Indian Oil AOD Celebrates Vigilance Awareness Week 2017


Correspondent; Guwahati, Nov 3: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week being observed from 30th October to 4th November, 2017 throughout the country Indian Oil AOD State Office, Guwahati organized Street Plays on 01.11.2017 at five prominent places within the city like Noonmati, Narengi, Gauhati Commerce College, Zoo Road, Cotton College and Railway Station to spread awareness on the issues of transparency, honesty and fight against corruption because corruption can be eliminated only with the active and committed involvement of the citizens.

The plays were based on the designated theme of Vigilance Awareness Week 2017: “My Vision- Corruption Free India”, mandated by Central Vigilance Commission, the apex vigilance institution of the country which has appealed to all to pledge to be honest and not be a part of any corrupt practice.

The street plays were very well received by the citizens as it generated public opinion to be a part of the fight against corruption.
